Title: Disastrous Dungeon Delve
Medium: baked goods, cocktail accessories.
Artists statement: Sometimes you just need cake.
A photograph of assorted cakes and biscuits from a bakery. Iced yum yums have been split and arranged to look like walls and a doorway. Spirals of cinnamon bun form the floor. Broken chunks of brownie represent rocks. A snapped in half gingerbread man is lying in the doorway with a staff shaped cocktail stirrer with a yellow flame like tip lying on the floor beside him. Two green frog fondant fancy cakes with pink open mouths and big white eyes are blocking the gingerbread man’s path. The frogs are armed with white cocktail forks. The frog closest to the camera has his fork angled down into the broken middle of the gingerbread man. Everything looks slightly wonky and lopsided.

Last week I had a liquid medicine added to my usual pills to try for three months. Measuring each dose with a spoon was a pain so I got a bit more organised. Sorting a week’s medication now takes a good deal longer.
A small and accurate electronic scale with a tiny glass bottle sitting on it. Further back on the table is a supply of similar glass bottles and caps in a plastic tub beside that there is a bottle of medicine, a plastic syringe and a small glass ramekin The display on the scale is glowing blue and is set to 0 I rainbow coloured pillbox containing a weeks worth of pills, with 21 small glass bottles containing a straw coloured liquid sitting behind it.

Colourfully lunch with drinks specially chosen for my first blue sky post.
A salad of quinoa, red tomato, chicken, purple beetroot, yellow, pickled cauliflower and pickled shallots served with a glass of bright blue blueberry lemonade. It is sitting on a stainless steel tray in front of my computer keyboard and stream deck.
