Good morning Kevin, it’s party for me - firstly today one can drink in Goa and secondly I’ve got something to celebrate- I just received a notice to say that the speeding camera that caught me recently wasn’t working properly so no driving awareness course needed 😀😀

Everything is good in Sri Lanka - thanks - had one wild night but fine now. Off to India tomorrow so staying in Colombo this evening and will stay at Galle Face Hotel to see how it’s changed

I used to love the Galle Face Hotel - it’s sadly not what it was. My favourite was the new oriental hotel - when I first stayed it was $100 for the presidential suite - now it’s $1500!

Good morning Kevin, a cyclone hit Sri Lanka a few days ago so it’s been pretty wet. But the sun is now shining in Galle and the best thing is that a plane is about to land carrying daughter and granddaughter so will definitely enjoy seeing those
