28-10 means if the Commanders (somehow) got 2x TDs with 2-pt conversions, and a field goal they could win the game. 29-10 only ties it.

I don't think the rulebook defines what "Positive" Position is. I guess there's a difference between "ball on the court without possession" and "player with control but no positive position" for which court is established.

Did you read the article? It goes on to explain that frontcourt possession isn't established until the player has "positive position" with the ball.
