Otherwise, the show is interesting, and my mom graduated in 1981, so it's kind of fun to watch with her.

As of ep 5(the one I'm currently on) there's no mention of the auto companies which in a 1980 Detroit suburb at least one of those kids would have a parent that works for them and it would be a massive deal. Also, nobody has the accent.

Freaks and Geeks- I'm watching this show for the first time, and I'm really enjoying how well they depict the awkwardness of high school. The show is supposed to be set in a fictional suburb of Detroit in 1980. My issue is it sounds more generic, midwest town than a Michigan town.

Also, Tommy would've frozen in that lightweight winter jacket. This jacket being used as a winter jacket in a snowstorm when they show Abby freezing in her heavy weight winter jacket, but he's fine, which is pretty unbelievable too. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the adaptation of the game so far.
