Big fan of farming games, Digimon and final fantasy!
Little treat for the month arrived!! I need to try and make room on my FFIX shelf for them

I finally figured out the blastoise belly trend thing. I had freed the boobs.

Do not open if you know me irl unless you wanna see my belly.

It’s finally done

WAHOO 60 games played and completed this year!

60. Bastion
Bastion is one of those games that has been sitting unfinished in my backlog for nearly 10 years, and I finally knucked down to actually give it a proper go - and ultimately really enjoyed it!

59. Absolum
It's hard for me to comment much on Absolum - I got carried a bit to clear on my 2nd run but I had a lot of fun

58. Hades II
Hades is one of my favourite games of all times, so much so that my dog is named Zagreus - and Hades was always going to be a hard one to top and while I don't think the package as a whole surpasses Hades 1, it certainly rises to challenge and iterates upon concepts in interesting ways.

57. Pokemon Legends ZA
While I have nitpicks (the city really needed some visual diversity outside of the wild areas) I overall had a really fun time and have been overal impressed with the designs of the new megas.
This game was fun and had me thinking about wanting to play it when I wasn't playing

56. Refind Self: The Personality Test Game
I like the idea of a personality test game - but I think this game falls short for me as my desire to experience the game clashed with the personality test aspects.

55. Is this seat taken
Simple puzzle game about putting people in the right seats.

Nothing ground breaking but definately made me think at times. A few gimmicks did feel a bit tedious when layered though but nothing too difficult.

54. Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma
An interesting deviation from the Rune Factory franchise which cast us to an east asian inspired land of Azuma. Previous RF games have often included the vague "east" so it's nice to actually get to visit.
The reduced focus on farming was a bit jarring though.

53. Co-Op Kaiju Horror Cooking
This game was unfortunately just not that fun.

Mecahnics were poorly explained, dungeon design was odd and confusing, and gameplay felt exceedingly punshing from the get go.

52. Mage Arena
A very fun co-op game. It's silly and a little crunchy but man is it fun shouting "fireball" at a each other.

51. Pathologic 3 Quarantine
WHAT A GREAT TASTE OF MORE TO COME.

This was such a neat window into pathologic 3 that left me yearning for so much more.
I appreciate the move away from the basic needs that the Haruspex had to deal with into the "elevated" needs of the bachelor.

50. The Marble Nest
A taster of the full Pathologic experience. It is interesting how the game really does place you in the shoes of the bachelor and forces you to see the world through his eyes - a really jarring experience coming from the haruspex's calm familiarity with the world.

49. Pathologic 2
I cannot sum pathologic up in a single post. It has made its way into being one of my fave games, and Artemy is my pookie.

48. DK Bananza
Overall a neat experience, although I found myself getting a bit tired during the midsection of the game. Start and end were execellent though.

47. This Game will End in 205 Clicks
Very short game with an interesting idea. I think the inevitability in the title made for a really interesting premise as the game went on.

46. Dead Take
A fun and spooky FMV game! Neil Newborn and Ben Starr's performances are really a stand out, but really make me wish the FMV elements were more prominent and central, as unfortunately the puzzles and enviroment exploration were nowhere near as interesting as the FMV portions.

45. WoW Dragonflight
I've always had a particular fondness for the dragonflights so when this expansion was announced I was thrilled. The storyline was interesting enough however I felt like it was sped through at certain points and the questlines felt a bit jammed together at times.

44. Lies of PLC
I really liked the DLC, however I found the fight design more frustrating than anything. I found myself stuck at bosses for a long time for reasons that felt outside my control
However, I will say several of the weapons from the DLC are absolutely amazing - GUNBLADE MOMENTS

Guess who hasn't updated his thread in a long time and now has tons to add.
42. Lies of P
My first soulslike otherlike Elden Ring and I honestly really enjoyed it! I pushed myself outside my comfort zone by using a motivitiy build and had a good time!
