Must’ve seen A VIEW TO A KILL thirty times but only just noticed the Marty McFly cameo. 1985 was a busy year for that guy.

Perhaps unexpectedly, this line got the biggest laugh at yesterday’s screening (“the bubbles tickle my Tchaikovsky” a close second)

I love Octopussy. It's very silly but I smile the whole time. Despite it being one of the more light-hearted films, the rush to defuse the bomb is also one the most tense 30 mins in a Bond film

A reminder that today being James Bond Day is the perfect excuse to watch OCTopu5sy

Watching A VIEW TO A KILL forty years on and Zorin’s plan to drown a load of tech bros in Silicon Valley hits a little less diabolically in 2025.

After yesterday’s GOLDENEYE anniversary screening (nicely full for a movie that’s been shown relentlessly on ITV2 for the last two decades) I encountered Sean in the loos, and now I need someone to report back from Cheltenham Cineworld’s ladies room in the vague hope that Maud Adams is in there.

Many happy returns to SPECTRE and NO TIME TO DIE’s Christoph Waltz, born this day in 1956.

Brosnan’s bungee cord is tied, Eric Serra’s plugged in his casio keyboard and Judi Dench has asked her hairdresser for a Derek Jacobi.

It’s time to watch GoldenEye.

Amazon have removed the guns from their Bond posters, giving the tantalising impression that Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan think you’re a wanker.

Today we get GoldenEye back in cinemas and new Alan Partridge.

Today is a good day.

Sir Roger Moore’s “Well” Wednesday:

Nice clarity of Well here, from LIVE AND LET DIE. No-one could do cool under pressure quite like Roger.
