But honestly, WE'RE MAD. We're mad that the people working hard to make the games we love are keep getting punished to help make the corporate bottom line look better. We're mad about all of the great games we're never going to see. We're mad that so many people have to suffer to make games.

With all of the layoffs going on in the gaming industry lately, we're starting to wonder what games are going to look like in the next few years, with teams everywhere being slashed. Our hearts go out to the devs affected, with hope everyone lands on their feet.

As I remember the specters of the past and ponder the horrors to come, I also remember the time I slipped a crying Jordan in to an old work flyer my director forced me to make.
