If any planner feels strongly about too-low densities being a problem, get in touch and I can explain how our building code punishes height more than codes in other countries (far beyond the three-story single-stair limit), and how they can get involved in the code development process to fix that
I don't think minimum density rules are quite so harmful as maximum density rules, but they certainly aren't harmless. If the slightly more scaled down project is what pencils, let it happen. www.mercurynews.com/2025/07/31/o...
