Seemingly overnight the 2 years olds bed time has changed from 7:30 (excellent time to get a cheeky quiet take away after he goes to bed) to 8:30 (too late for secret eating now we have to all eat healthy together)

The toddler doesn’t know the difference between hot and cold yet and we took him to the hotel pool and he kept going “too hot too hot” while shivering. Lesson learnt the pool is only good before midday when it’s in the sun

It’s ridiculous that I have to put the aircon on in my son’s room so that he can have a nap in the middle of winter. His room gets up to 25 degrees when the sun hits his window. Opening them doesn’t help because the bits that do open are tiny and no airflow comes in. Townhouses are so shit

One thing that is hard to get used to since having a child is other people in my house moving things. It had been just me and Jerry living alone for so long and now I have my parents here twice a week. I forget and wonder all the time who moved the sugar jar or put the mugs on a different shelf

I DONT WANT TO JINX IT but the toddler hasn’t thrown his unfinished lunch on the floor in a couple of days. He simply stops eating when he is full (or screws up his face and spits it out) 🙌
