The MLB and NHL are really the only sports leagues (at least in the US) that are controlled by, played by, and viewed by fascists.

No that feeds into capitalism, not fascism. The two are not intrinsically linked. And numerous players from the NFL use their wealth to give back to their communities. In fact more than the ones who don’t. Same with owners.

Just say you’re ok with rooting for a team owned by a man who openly supports fascists.
January 30, 2026 at 5:55 PM
Or, and hear me out, openly associating with and being friends with fascists and donating to their campaigns is bad. And thus you should always want the worst for those people,

They’ve donated to numerous charities. Definitely not perfect as she’s had her own controversies. But better than Kraft. She cofounded the Allen Family Foundation which has given more than 460 million to charity since 1990

Every single country we trade with should just stop trading with the US until Trump is removed from office.

If there was no salad I could do it. I can't eat lettuce tho. Shits disgusting.

The owner is. Personally I’m rooting for the Seahawks. Their owner donates to things that actually help people

1. If WWE is booking them to wrestle then WWE should pay for the ring gear. 2. WWE shouldn't even be having shows in Saudi Arabia. Fuck the Saudis and fuck the fed

Honestly? Put the belt on him. Have him set the record for shortest time between on screen debut and title win
January 29, 2026 at 5:58 PM
Doesn't have to be just AEW.
January 29, 2026 at 5:57 PM
I feel like that's a win/win for everyone, except WWE. And that's what I'm ok with. Plus, the people who do think AEW is just taking talent from NJPW without giving anything in return would have nothing to bitch about if their golden boy returned instead of going to AEW.
January 29, 2026 at 4:56 PM
Honestly I see it more likely that he goes to NJPW to end his career if he doesn't retire fully after the Rumble. And maybe wrestle through his bucket list there. The AEW locker room would still be involved, the Saudi stink wouldn't make it's way to AEW, and he gets to end his career on a high note.
January 29, 2026 at 4:55 PM
Even if it is his just his WWE retirement, reporting says HE chose the date and it's been locked in for months. I don't want the Saudi stink in AEW
January 29, 2026 at 4:13 PM
He’s supposed to be retiring at the rumble in Saudi Arabia. And the reporting says that’s his choice. I don’t want that stink in AEW if he does swerve and unretire to go elsewhere
January 29, 2026 at 3:59 PM
No. If he chose to retire in Saudi Arabia then he should stay retired. I don't want him coming in with that blood money stink on him.

The problem is how do you really know they've changed their mind unless they prove it by starting from the bottom? What is stopping them from running on "I'm a changed person!" and then just acting the exact same after taking office as they did before they swapped party affiliation?
