Do you not know how government works? He works for the legislative branch (makes laws & conducts oversight). But since Dems don’t have majority in either the House or the Senate, Republicans control what legislation is introduced, what legislation gets passed, and what oversight is conducted.

There’s nothing he can do. Other than organize a protest. He can’t conduct oversight investigation either.

Why isn’t anyone pushing back on the MAGA narrative that this was a “brilliant” move by Trump to avert Biden’s ban? Biden’s ban didn’t include where we have never stopped drilling in the GoM or Alaska. Review BOEM’s OCS leasing for oil & gas.

So, is he saying because of his net worth he makes $8 million a day? Or because of subsidies? It would make sense if he meant subsidies to compare it to Social Security, but he’s not making $8 mil a day from subsidies. This was a poor argument. IMO.
