I once did bespoke demographic multipliers for a region showing barely any kids even coming out of SF housing these days, and even lower from apartments.

I saw that too! Like, if you've been out you'd know that this isn't the 2020 protests. I've been going out with my cell phone and my whole face out in the open since spring and I haven't been black-bagged yet (in Portland even!)

Oh sure! But yeah if it's outside controlled airspace you don't need a flight plan with the FAA (LAANC). Some cities have local ordinances about drones on the books (can't fly in public parks, etc.) but you don't need to pre-file anything.

Anything bigger than 249 g technically requires a whole FAA-issued pilots license (Part 107) and you can get that shit revoked for doing dumb stuff like flying by an airport.

Did you actually call? Critical aviation safety at the FAA is currently work without pay. I just this morning had to file a drone flight request for work and it went through without issue, but maybe that's automated.

I once had an elderly woman in HYSTERICS at a public meeting because an undeveloped parcel of land, which was being suggested as a good place for affordable housing, would have tenants that could "look in her windows". This would have been across a road and with setbacks.

Similar to "Dems are always bad", "vegans are always bad." There was all that uproar about how almond milk is terrible and needs too much water... While it still uses less water than dairy milk!
