Have to ask this about Canva, they advertise themselves as the free, free forever, people. That means free tier that basically forces people into a subscription, or that we are the product. What’s your experience on there?

But I don’t want to sign up, even if it is free. I don’t need another website sending me emails and/or tracking me. Using a fake email is one thing, but we shouldn’t have to. As they say, “if it is free, you are the product.” I’d rather you stick to providing information rather than using mine.

Oh, this is quite clever. Canada, of course, will admit culpability and that sets the norm for other countries to do the same. It’s fun when the behind the scenes manoeuvring is so clearly obvious. Maybe this is a solution of what to do with the tariff money
