Feedback from anyone, friends, strangers, parents. Feedback allows others to see your art without all the thought process you had in your head, so they see it as something fresh. That will help you see what others see, but do not let it cloud your feelings.

Although technical and full of practice, art requires a sense of visualization that is drawn from inspirations and freedom. The moment you set your eyes in what you mostly enjoy of art, that's when you would be able to seek practice and growth, and progress WILL happen. Also, always feedback.

This is amazing, I wish Pokemon had visions like this for spin off games/mistery dungeons, it would give us nostalgia but modern. Thank you for putting the inspo it truly is amazing.
