Will I read book 15? Definitely. I'm already 14 books into this, that at this point I'm along for the ride. It really feels like the author knows it and it's just dragging the story along.

The off-screen secondary characters deaths were also off-putting and kind of unnecessary. Those could have been impactful rather than "also happened" footnotes.

The MC's plot armor is so strong that most of the high-stakes subplots are like "let's see how this will be blow up" rather than "oh crap, what will happen??".

Book two and three are coming out as the immersion tunnel next year.

Did you try the audio immersion tunnel version on sound booth theater’s website? It’s a 1000% improvement over the audible audiobook.

The cradle series is another classic if you haven’t read it already.

I kind of like this audiobook delayed re-release. It’s an excuse to reengage with the story in a straightforward way.

DCC is great! I just hope you aren’t into cocker spaniels.

Welcome. Hi. Nice to meet you!

At least book 11 ends at a good spot for a break.

You just made me look up noobtown and I found out that the new book came out this month. Thank you! I hope you are enjoying the series. It's definitely good!

The wandering inn!

It’s not going to get better when you catch up. The next book is coming out in 2 years (or the new book just came out). The withdrawal will be real. DCC is awesome, btw.

If you are ok with slow-burn stories without much fighting, the wandering inn is a good series to start.

Can I interest you in a new version of the game? The last one you will ever need?

One Version to rule them all, One Version to find them,
One Version to bring them all and in subscriptions bind them
In the Land of D&D Beyond where Hasbro lie.

The series definitely gets better. The later books have some ups and downs (looking at you, Floor 4), but they aren't total dealbreakers.

If you haven't listened to the audiobooks yet, those are great too. They even have a "radio like" serial for the first book that came out last year.
