At 65, I'm doing a 6-month internship in Costa Rica. I have on many occasions, whether watching wild animals, or feeding baby sloths, been at peace, and am incredibly grateful for this opportunity + experience. At home in CA, I also try to make a practice of gratitude for my life + the people in it.

Out of the AMA window but curious, why aren't the Democrats on the ground in high schools and on college campuses offering an alternative to TPUSA fanfare? Surely, there's an opportunity to appeal to the terrified youth whose futures are being shaped by the draconian measures of Project 2025/2026

Some of us can. I've been to every province in Canada, have you? Also, all 50 states. There's beauty and stupidity everywhere.

I live in the foothills east of Granada Hills and we have had one (the same one?) flying around our little canyon as well. First time I ever remember seeing a bald eagle in So. Cal. You?
