I got into horror because it gives me permission to feel disgust at something other than myself. My favorite works of horror offer an alternate and often fantastical lens to view not just myself but the world around me

We need the horror genre. Horror pulls out the monsters in our minds and haunts us in our waking hours; is the perfect genre for the shadow work we'll be doing for the next few years.

have been thinking about lrt since arriving. i think the blocklists that u can subscribe to/mass block from here are a rly powerful moderation tool, but i also think they have a lot of potential for abuse, and it's important to do a little vetting before u just start slamming buttons
