Nietzche identified that during his time, "slave morality" was predominant despite then lacking the power to overcome the "masters" by force. "Slave morality" won out by defining the attributes of "masters" as evil. He will argue for another redefinition of morals that transcends "good and evil"

Nietzche is using his own definitions for "master" and "slave". In Geneology, the "master" is akin to those who are strong willed. "Slave" are those that value humility and meekness. Nietzche argues that these approaches to morality trade places, and that the "slave morality" holds humanity back.

This was a much more enjoyable read then I ever thought it'd be. I've been meaning to read it again soon
