I recently got to visit the Center on Cottage Grove. As the Woodlawn satellite site of the Center on Halsted, the Center on Cottage Grove serves our city's Black and Brown LGBTQ+ residents on the South Side.

Today, the Supreme Court is considering a case that could overturn Colorado's ban on conversion therapy. 

I was proud to join an amicus brief against this case and cosponsor @reptedlieu.bsky.social’s bill that would ban this cruel practice nationwide.

I want to thank La Casa Norte for allowing me to visit their food pantry this week. La Casa Norte’s pantry, health clinic, and homeless shelter serve Chicagoans every day.
