I can't stop thinking about Alyra being the star of the show for three tiny little kids out at lunch yesterday, ahaha - they were talking her on "walks" around the patio and crawling all over her, and she went along with it all so happily and tolerantly! She's such a good girl and makes me so proud!

I'm so seriously about to crack under the ho ho holiday pressure, but omfg look at this absolute classic of a Star Trek print I was just gifted by my oldest friend!!!!!!!! I could cry!!!!! Maybe the spirit of Spirk will keep me holding on for just a little longer, ahaha! 💖🌌🖖

living in a small town is crazy, because yesterday I realized I'd lost the number of someone I used to see at a shop who no longer works there who gave it to me at MY workplace to apply, and today I saw her in town and was able to run up to her like a crazy person and ask for it again, ahaha!!

very rarely does my finished work so closely reflect my initial vision, but I am soooo happy with how my customized TOxDO notebook came out!! I've wanted one ever since I started following Tomorrow x Together, and it feels amazing to have finally made my dream a reality all these years later, ahaha!

it actually drives me a bit crazy when people use the phrase "can't teach an old dog new tricks", because like I understand the intention of the saying, but the analogy just doesn't fit??? literal old dogs learn new tricks all the time???? like why is the sentiment conveyed with THAT comparison???

omfg I just saw a turkey vulture double take to check if my dog was alive or dead out on the deck, ahaha!! it stopped and did a circle in an otherwise straight flight path right overhead as Alyra was sunning herself out there like a carcass, omgggg ahahaha

One of the craziest things about my new job is being able to just... finish something I started on one day on the next day??? At my last job you basically had to do everything on your list during that exact shift or it would be at least Big Trouble, or it could be literal life or death, ahaha yikes!

UMMMMMM???? very big kitty in our yard, ahaha yikes!!! There is a lot of wildlife I can be way more chill about than most people, but I will admit that a whole entire mountain lion has me a bit spooped, haha!

I was trying to get as good of a picture as I could of this guy for inaturalist when they decided to pop right on out for their close-up!! Not gonna lie... I did make a very spooked noise about it, ahaha!
