I can only speculate that just outside the frame of the video is a bucket of gym chalk for them to sprinkle on their hands and themselves 😂 only way I can see that working

Aww bearded dragons are cute, would definitely be my first choice if I was ever to get a lizard 🦎

Ooohhh so thats what they are called, yeah ive seen videos of people fixing socks but never had a clue what the wooden thing they had the sock on was lol thank you for educating me on it 😃 pretty clever to repurpose the bulb as one, i can see how that would work pretty well

Darning egg? I can't say as I've ever heard of that tool before, what is it used for? What kind of lizard do you have?

Really hope it stays manageable for you, but more hopeful of it improving, I know different things work for different people, but I found heat helps with the pain, maybe try one of those little hand warmers when you feel it starting on your thumb

Its almost like they can smell the peace and quiet you need and just hone in on disrupting it lol

Hats off to you for jumping straight into a written pattern for your first time crocheting, it took me a while of following youtube videos before I was confident enough to start reading/following written patterns. Im happy to help explain what I can if you need it 🙂

I feel you on the tendinitis front, I have it in both my shoulders, when it sets off I cant use me arm or hands, when you rely on your hands so much for an escape and a bit of peace from the world, the impact of it flaring up can be pretty big and so painful

Thats a brilliant salvage you've done! Turned out so good! And side note, love that Ryuk poster

Oh I know the feeling, I have a lovely multi coloured yarn in my stash thats been collecting dust and im waiting for the day it speaks to me 😂
November 16, 2025 at 1:33 PM
Ooohhh and thats just the perfect size for darning needles! Such a good idea!
November 16, 2025 at 1:31 PM
Thats brill! Much quicker than what ive done in the past, when ever ive had to thread beads onto yarn I would glue the end of the yarn into a point and have to wait for it to dry and then thread it through
November 16, 2025 at 1:31 PM
Love the mix of colours you've used 😃🐉
