The bit that really worries me is that beyond the immediate market impact - but in the desire of austerity-minded states to replace useful people (therapists, teachers, front-line staff etc) with AI. Pushing them into retirement, or other industries, knocking out trainee pipelines...

I magnet fished a girl's airpod after it fell in the canal, it still worked after that apparently. I wouldn't have stuck it in my ear right after, mind! That was pretty quickly afterwards though.
