Another thing I can try is distro hopping. Haven’t done that since 2023.
I settled with Nobara, back before I used vr. Switched back to windows cuz of Skyrim.
I saw a Fren using PopOS, Debian/Ubuntu based. Might try that. Might fix my Remote Desktop issue where I have to physically give perms.

If I have to turn my pc into a fucking hackingtosh, just to get it on boot camp, to then reinstall windows, then my fucking god.

I could dualboot but I don’t see the point, in my use case.
Plus I’d have to get up out of bed each time I reboot remotely when lying in bed.

ALVR kept failing to change firewall settings.
Wivrn works great but doesn’t use steamvr, which doesn’t fit my use case of also wanting to use the desktop too.
Steam link has sound but is visually glitchy.
I spent my entire evening on this…
Linux is great btw, but it seems I’ll return later.
