The problem is that nuclear war is just as likely to start by accident.

A good book to read, which I recommend to everyone, is "Command and Control" by Eric Schlosser, and any article he has written about nuclear weapons, is just as good.

If you care about nukes, read Thermonuclear Monarchy (Scarry) and Bomb Power (Wills).
Then ask what it means if the Nuclear Weapons Corpus is one coupled system, not many arsenals.

Wouldn't it really be a lot more than one warhead in the worst case scenario? Chicago would probably get hit by 10, 20, 30 warheads. Ain't that was MIRVs are all about?

Aren't ICBMs already hypersonic for decades? I always view hypersonic missile articles as press releases from the MIC.

Patsy, that is a known moment in the novel.
I just checked.
Look, I have been thinking about you all night.

Dear Patsy,

I was rereading Norwegian Wood today, and I came across the line "Do you mind if I talk to you." It stopped me.
Norwegian Wood sounds like a song you would like.
You said that right as you stopped to cross the threshold into the kitchen. Do yhou know this book?
