Finally got my list of agents sorted (as in, first wave of vetting them by genre and location is done) so hopefully I will be fixing up my query letter for the first round of submissions! (if I can get it fully beta'd before the end of the year lol)

Just got rejected from the Chapter One Prize! I'm really glad I submitted to it, even though I didn't win. It's taken a lot of work to earn this rejection, and I'm so glad I've finally made to the point where I'm proud I failed. Every writer gets rejected so I'm happy to have a big one under my belt

Taking a break from my current manuscript always feels so awful 😥 I always feel like I need to be working on it non-stop in order to make progress (which is unfortunately untrue). Guess I'm working on an essay instead 😮💨
