For a long time I avoided it like the plague because I associated it with a certain kind of nerdy dude who only wanted to interact with me when he was trying to throw things down my shirt. Suffice to say it’s refreshing to see a different side of magic and get to participate!

I first heard about magic in middle school. I was at an anime club meeting and some boys in the club broke out their decks but when I tried to ask them about it and get involved they told me it was too complicated and I wouldn’t get it. I recently made my first commander deck but yeah-

Better late than never at the end of the day. I guess this is one of those moments where you remember you don’t need to like or agree with people to try to come together in coalition, and this is how the seeds of change can happen.

Yeah being a small account I definitely get a higher percentage of like peer group people following me than a bigger account would so I often end up finding cool mutuals from people following me.

Same I’m trying to currate my feed, but now and then cool people follow me like other artists, writers, etc, and then I go check out their accounts and follow them back lol.

Yeah this is why I don’t follow back most accounts because even when they’re not obviously bots/super politically inflammatory a lot of people just don’t really do much outside of reposting content and that’s what the discovery feed is for.
