ooh though you know what actually, about a year ago i read O Human Star on a random recommendation and found it very good. sort of embarrassingly earnest in some ways, a good time with some juicy emotions in there.

honestly it feels a bit thin to write it out but smiling at strangers and being smiled back at, being polite to people who are in turn polite to me. using a wheelchair obviously skews this since people always want to help me now, but its sort of nice that they do
