i'm gonna need the ffxiv playerbase to do that thing where they loudly complain until the dev team is forced to respond, because this is stunningly bad. just diabolical new levels of "ffxiv dev team fears visual design elements that could plausibly be interpreted as non-white"

not liking the way "inspired by" does the heavy lifting here by letting se get away with botching a textured hairstyle. mods can't fix this, console players who have no choice but vanilla deserve better, it falls to se to bother to give the effort to emulate the style or why even do these contests.
