🟣 All of this leads to a more intimate race. It's less of a show of the latest gear and more of a focus on the community as it connects to the natural wonders around us.

🔵 The forest is also the reward. I only use signage at intersections and tricky spots so that you get full immersion and allllll the photos you want without race flagging getting in the way.

🟡 No swag. People have enough shirts and medals collecting dust and getting donated. (Sometimes people get rocks and leaf necklaces, though.)
🟢 The forest is the race venue. You literally park at the side of the road in the middle of the woods and GO.
