i didn't know gender envy until i saw this picture of a girl cosplaying and her hair was styled in a way remarkably similar to kett's hair: something i didn't think was actually possible in the real world, and i super duper wish i had that image saved

I played this SO much as a kid it's not even funny, dad had gotten me a huge offline library of Flash games and this was one of them... I think that was like 2010

I used to think static methods were, like, stateless. You could just have a function with no underlying state and not worry about side-effects or whatever. Nope. You can have state without even instancing a class. That was brand new for me.
