I did notice that he said 'I am going to be prime minister going into next year', not 'next year's election'.

I used to enjoy that but it was a long time ago. And I've had better marsanne (and marsanne blends).

I remember him being here for Writers and Readers in 2003. A lovely man.

I was very relieved to find that Bremworth had, amongst the multitude of creams and browns and greys, a pretty near exact match for the ancient blue/green carpet in my (60s) apartment. (Bremworth Angus Tweed aqua, to be specific.)

I just remember it being pretty seedy by the time it closed (early 1980s).

It's the term 'latte' that offends: as if the thing itself isn't bad enough, couldn't they have just called it white, or cream?

If there are others I don't want to know.

Well that's a meaning of 'Dutch oven' I didn't know.

I can imagine. Nice and breezy up on Waimapihi heights.

Thankfully there is wind; or, at least, a Wellington breeze.

Meanwhile, the other proposed tunnel is a little too close to home for my liking.
