I went to buy a collectible. It was $800, pricey. I didn’t notice the tariff warning. It turns out the tariff for said item is $1795. Needless to say, I cancelled the order.

The sucky part is that tariffs COULD work. Implemented over time, businesses would complain, but they’d adjust and make the necessary investments in America. The way Trump has gone about it, with the talk of “making a deal”, only spooks investors and consumers alike. Sigh.

I’m gonna go ahead and say it - I think Zelensky is being set up. I don’t think he is going to make it back to Ukraine after visiting with Trump this weekend. They’ll claim whatever happens to be an accident but it will have all of the finesse of Epstein’s suicide. Trump, did him, too.

Folks, Republicans have already released their ‘25 budget. It extends Trump’s tax cuts for his billionaire class donors as well as corporations. Republicans are paying lip service to small businesses and farms, like normal, but those rebates are subject to committees and reconciliation.

The Trump administration is now playing the game that Musk, isn’t in charge of DOGE. They’ve now argued in court that Musk isn’t in charge. He’s a special consultant, nothing more. If that’s the case, then why are ANY agencies listening to him, or DOGE? It cannot be both ways.

I read some dirt today about Musk that seems legit. Everyone knows he has hair plugs. He’s had several gender confirmation surgeries afterward, however. He’s had chin and cheek implants to make himself appear more masculine. The big one, though, is that he had a penis enlargement procedure.

This Bluesky thing is a really good idea. It’s more of a protocol than something like Zuck’s originally benign but now socially malignant Facebook. I hope the app gets the attention it deserves, and perhaps a few different clients to prove its versatility. Like Linux but for social networking…

200,000 out of work feds is DEFINITELY going to cause a recession. Considering that corporations continue to raise prices, we’re looking at stagflation. It’s surprising how quickly this “Trump train”, has gone off the rails.
