Sadly, I'm too broke to get an editor, a professional one... My boyfriend is a much better editor than me, but he prefers to read short stories, but he's my biggest supporter in writing and in love. But as I'm on SSI/SSDI, I'm trying to be careful where I spend my money...

Mostly science fiction and fantasy, so there's not a lot of research needed. However, I did need to do a ton of research for my steampunk alternate history/ alternate reality Debutante of Cassiopeia, rooted in the Hamilton musical. That draft has been written, but I need to revise & edit.

Probably the most fun part of writing for me is drafting and planning at the same time- I'm a plantser, so when I get and idea, I just start writing it down in a notebook or computer, and get inspiration from research at the same time. Editing is the hardest...

I have the strangest nightmares, and I'm trying to combat them the best I can, but I'm a pessimist.
This is why I say, don't give up until someone hears your story. Have faith and bravery, fear will come back to hurt you, but that's what writing is for.

-real job or career since college graduation- I got terminated or laid off after 90 days or less, which is why I'm on Social Security now. I was afraid of losing my parents, I lost one so far, I'm scared of losing my mom too. This is why I write, it's so important.

Absolutely, but this is a hard one to answer.
I tend to write in my diary and writing journals as if it's therapy, and I'm not afraid to tell my therapist about this. I even had a horrible nightmare this morning where I was trying to save Monarch butterflies-

The scariest thing? Honestly, the revision and editing part of my writing. I feel so good with the first draft, but then after the criticism, I'm so afraid to rewrite it and get it right the second time. But it needs to be done. I'm also not great at fight scenes.
