Looking across the park after hitting some tennis balls, I see young kids in the distance w/ their parents at the playground. As a parent of young adults, this view, distant and a little out of focus, captures how that time in my life feels at this moment. Even so, the laughter still makes me smile❤️

Had one of my older #tennis racquets painted by #CustomTennisRacquet 😊🎾
One of my older tennis racquets, a Dunlop Aerogel 4D 500 Tour, got a new metallic white paint job by #CustomTennisRacquet. Has a mother-of-pearl appearance. I strung it with a Solinco Mach-10/Hyper-G Round hybrid. 🎾

A bird soared into view, and circled, high in the clear blue sky above my mom’s back yard, just as I took the photo a few years ago when I was helping my mom and her husband ready for a move cross country. Red roses, named for my late young niece Kelly, bloom in the foreground. Maybe, just maybe, that beautiful bird who joined us was the spirit of Kelly. 🕊️ 🌹❤️
