I wonder how this buyer's behavior fits into sales projections and game investment practices, considering that 47% of players in Steam also rather play older games.
Also it's only playtime, not purchases data so the picture might be very different there.

Most of those games aren't form 2024. Only 10% are this year's releases. I tend to add stuff to Wishlist and only buy another game when I'm finished with the previous one. I also tend to buy only discounted games unless I REALLY want specific game.
