no ill will toward people who are excited. I heard Iron Lung was pretty good, and that's a game to movie adaptation. But I also am a film school graduate and my tolerance for reboots and sequels and adaptations that force original films into a nonexistent theatrical run is at an all time low.

I just believe that some stories are simply better told as video games and in the era of "it's impossible to sell a script unless it's an existing IP" seeing yet another video game -> movie adaptation just makes me very very exhausted for the same reasons that 2D classic -> "live action remake" does
