Heck, Pathfinder even has rules for "blind player results" and "blind player rolls" for a reason! And they make sense for things like knowledge checks and investigations and the like where sometimes not even knowing if you don't know is half the fun!

May I ask what your issues between the two are?
I've (briefly) tried the AVP and while the resolution and pass through is far superior, I didn't find any killer "feature" difference between the two for productivity, (save the gaming stuff on the Q3.)

I swung back and forth freelance/salary for almost 15 years (in the film industry) before deciding to settle down into fulltime. It's more restrictive but that comes with stability.
Unfortunately, I don't know any options for pixel artists, but yeah that hustle gets tiring.
