"Self face syndrome", " what art style is this?", "is tracing irl images okay"- why are we trying to turn the most subjective form of content objective? Why has the main goal of art become becoming part of a norm? It's truly disheartening

Now it's become increasingly capitalized and shallow. I get wanting to get your fair share of money as an artist, and I get wanting to grow an audience, but it's so sad seeing artists getting pushed into a mold only made for palatable appeal, most of which is just conventional attraction
