Well there are some reasons. If you don’t deploy then people will be throwing company info into everything and anything, and if you’re deploying to some batch of people here and then some other batch you’re creating more work and also probably paying more for each license.

I think a lot about that too. I wonder if we hit a DoorDash wall. That blew up when it was subsidized by venture money, and now the expense is insane. Uber was similar. I guess they did get people locked into a lifestyle they wouldn’t have otherwise but the expense is coming.

What’s funny is at our company our IT and CIO are so slow to implement it and release a governing policy on it that I’m 100% sure proprietary info is going into free ChatGPT every day.

Yeah, using other tools you have to sanitize all context out so you’re not putting in proprietary info so that means their output is worthless and now my job got copilot which is nice to not do that but the output is also near worthless a lot of times anyway.

And Obama won again after the craziest of them swallowed their pride and listened to establishment types who said a guy like Romney could beat him. Obama was the avatar for racial resentment and Trump was THE guy that put away decorum to bathe in the racism where Romney and McCain wouldn’t.

The party changed first when Obama won but then drastically again when Romney lost. They held their nose and listened to establishment types in order to beat the guy who was the devil to them and it didn’t work.

I’m just watching it now and it feels kind of surreal. Like it’s not for me or any creative professional. Everything is how to eliminate me. I can’t choose a different career, but it makes me feel like my time doing what I love is numbered, or at least that it will change drastically quickly.
