Predictably, German conservatives indulging in pathological denial of the fact that it wasn't the KPD that voted for the Enabling Act of 1933, but rather the CDU's predecessor Centre Party.
Der "Fehler" damals war, dass Linke und Rechte, stalinistische KPD und Nazis, denselben Feind hatten: die liberale Demokratie. Der Fehler ist heute, dass die Linke ihren Anteil an der Zerstörung der Republik nicht zugibt und darum - wie Sie - lieber Liberale beschimpft als Rechte kritisiert.
