Finished my first half-marathon in 2:26:47. Sub-2:30 was the goal so no complaints here. No idea where I'm going to go from here, might run it back, might be a one-of.

In other news, I signed up for my city's half marathon in October after considering it for a couple of years. Not an active runner (yet) but I ran some 5Ks this week to see where I'm at and I think I can get there.

I just can't with this shit anymore. I have no idea if people ACTUALLY believe bait like this or we are just *supposed to think that they do*, to feed our collective resignation when faced with this deluge of AI misinformation slop.

Link to an article by the German outlet "Correctiv" which informs its readers about fake news and other propaganda campaigns. It shows an AI-generated picture of Charlie Kirk in the style of the Simpsons and the headline ""No, the Simpsons have not predicted Charlie Kirk's death."

I've been loosely following the MLB for years (decades even) without supporting any team in particular, and while watching the Blue Jays/Dodgers recap this morning I decided to order a #bluejays hat if Fluharty saves the game against Ohtani and Betts.

Guess I'll have to learn some names.

I'm a teacher and I do; in fact, it's a mandatory part of the curriculum in literally every subject in German secondary schools.

School in the United States is a whole different story though.

It does, but I don't see how six packs of Foundations plus the 24 boosters for the Top 8 draft justifies a 40-50€ increase compared to constructed RCQs. I want stores to succeed but 70€ is HARSH.

There's an LGS an hour away from me running a Foundations Sealed RCQ soon and they're charging *70€* for it. No details about prizes except that there will be some.

With all my heart I have no idea how you end up at 70€ when constructed RCQs around here are like 15-25€ incl. prizes. Madness.
