Bubble Bobble Part 2 is a bit of an obscure title on the original NES. I always appreciated how it carried themes from the Rainbow Islands game, as well as the original title. Loved its use of color! Happy to illustrate a piece based on it.~ 🌈🫧

Had a lovely time visiting Philadelphia to briefly turn it into "The City of Digital Love". It was excellent to exhibit at the TCG Legends Expo!

I don't know if Nintendo gets enough credit for this initial first-party Switch 2 output. After seeing the Gamescom stuff today, it feels like they are really carrying creativity in the mainstream industry.

Had a fun time playing "The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom." Felt like doing an illustration based on it. It's interesting to think about how the gameplay was built on the theme of the Triforce of Wisdom for its puzzle solving.~

No map, no waypoints and a full maze like world. Felt like doing a piece based on the original Metroid title for the NES. It was always a curiosity to explore for me when growing up and set the groundwork for so many solitary exploration titles to come.~

Somewhat forgotten about these days, "Breath of Fire III" always stood out to me with an energetic and diverse use of color. Wanted to capture that in an illustration. I hope Capcom lets the series make a comeback one day!~

Still trying to find a good art portfolio platform to move off of Deviantart to. There seems to be so much division between these new platforms, its hard to know whats what. Its one reason why I haven't been collecting a lot of my illustrations in the last few years online anywhere.

I get a little sad when I see Japan doing cool corporate collabs with illustrators, but then in the US, our collabs are generally with some social media influencer or an illustrator that gets no recognition. 😭
