I remember for the longest time I had to watch The Crow on VHS. I taped it off of a "free STARZ weekend". Today, even though I have it on DVD, I know the exact scene where the phone number to order STARZ would show up on the bottom of the screen

I think it is satisfying to beat back that voice and say "look, I did it". Sometimes the opponent you have to beat is you.

Many times I decided to say "f$#@ you" to myself and then get at it just to spite myself.
