These are Common Chachalacas that hang out in my yard, SoTx. They eat Texas Nightshade, pigeonberries, corky-stemmed passionflower berries, cat food. Love finding shriveled grapes or lettuce in the compost pile. Can be loud and raucous, but generally are a peaceable lot. Good company.
