Also the Christmas bonus is a big sloppy smooch from an actual dog and a trip to the post office. But you can buy a cookie on the way!

People talking about hot Target Santa ain't got shit on my OG hot Santa. He brings gifts (stolen gold) and is morally judgy, but certainly not without sin. And he wears a hat and a red coat! He's simply hot Santa!

This is very rad! The weathering on Bound might be a little much for primo legibility? Losing the bottom of the B especially, but the vibes are toothy and grabby!

What a pull.

Save seeds the first year for the second, and it's basically an infinite food hack? Grocery stores are expensive and choosing not to capitalism in this way is a revolutionary act that connects you to millennia of your forebears and the earth. It's well worth a try!

Anyway, if you have a place that's stable, I recommend trying your hand at it in spring. Buy a big, big pot, put it outside (even a balcony works great!), fill it with dirt, toss a plant you like to eat in there, and water it if it gets dry.
Nice leafy lettuce? Tomato? Hot pepper? Herbs? Whatever!

It shouldn't be-- that's how humans have done things up until comparatively recently-- but it is. Anyway, with the, you know... Everything, gardening has become even more practical. The seeds from my local library can feed my family and friends all summer, and I get to play in the dirt!

I think the only food she ever grew was rhubarb, a gift from the home's previous owners, but now, all I want to do is grow food. I have a lot of hobbies, but gardening is the one I most feel I can share with the people I love. Making a meal that was entirely from your hands, seed to plate, is wild.

Every spring, without fail, despite the fact that her yard was mostly shade. Gramps had built squatty little boxes, and we would carefully tuck shade-tolerant annuals into sandy soil. I loved playing in dirt together, the care we put into these scraggly little leaves, how they exploded into color.

Truly the dream.
A little garden with lots of peanuts and sunflowers? A big courtyard with trees and benches and gargoyles to land on? Time to read and write and paint as long as you and the crows are fed? Soft hills, a little river, miles from the next structure, surrounded by like-minded friends?

Don't threaten me with a good time.

It does kind of feel like a psyop, tbh.
I've gotten pretty fast at a very specific math that is like what is the least number of times I have to print to get 26 copies with the least overage? (5 and 1)

Also, I think our tech director makes three times what I do 🤙

If you'd like to expand your understanding here Dave, Alie Ward has a fantastic podcast with Russell Barkley, who is one of the absolutely preeminent scholars on ADHD. He has a lot of great information about the potential causes and how the reporting has changed and is again, sort of THE guy.

I am sure you are coming at this from a good place, and I know as a person who has ADHD that it can be a scary thing to rationalize.

But I also know that 75 years ago, no one would have thought I was anything but "absent-minded". My grandma never got diagnosed, and so much of her is me.
