Adultery → Having s*x with a person who is not your spouse.

Lust → To have strong s*xual desire for someone.

We all know that adultery is wrong,

But we don't always view lust the same way..

Interestingly, Jesus said....

A tough lesson I'm still trying to wrap my head around.

In the Old Testament, the sixth commandment was:

Thou shalt not kill

Killing is a terrible sin, but it's relatively easy to avoid.

However, Jesus taught that even being angry with someone,

Makes you subject to judgement.

Don't worry too much about looking good on the outside,

Because God cares more about your inside.

He is after your heart.

Basic principles for walking with God:

- Don’t follow the crowd
- Don’t let sin rule your life
- Don’t ignore the needs of others
- Don’t be quiet when you should speak

It doesn’t matter where you go,

Always carry the truth,

Always walk in light.

He thought God was a genie.

Don’t we all think that way at times?

Being blessed by God,

Means experiencing hope and joy,

Independent of any outward circumstances.

You are right in speaking of the moral foundations of science,

But you cannot turn around and speak of the scientific foundations of morality.

But you still behave like everyone around you,

You are of little value representing God’s presence in this world.

God blesses those who:

- Mourn
- Work for peace
- Have pure hearts
- Practice mercy and humility
- Hunger and thirst for justice
- Recognize their need for him
- Get persecuted for doing right

A life with God isn't an easy life,

But it's a life worth living.
