I was playing #AceAttorney series the other day and I decided to add these beep sounds while displaying text. The pitch changes depending on which character is talking, and it gives a little more of personality to them when there's no voice acting. #visualnovel #IndieGameDev

And here's the promised "inquiry mode". You can ask the NPCs about the clues you've gathered, so you can gather even more clues. Now I just have to work on this terrible writing and turn it into a real dialogue.😅 #visualnovel #IndieGameDev #indiedev #GameBoy

Adding multiple choices to the visual novel mode. The "Ask about..." option will be used to ask the NPC about the clues you've gathered (objects, people and facts). I'll work on that next! 🦥 #visualnovel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indiedev #GameBoy

Spent some time working on a clues menu, which can be used to access items and files related to the ongoing investigation. Also toggled the default palette a bit to get a better contrast: the lighter shade's a little more yellowish now. #indiedev #indiegamedev #visualnovel #sunofes
