The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)
They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

I could see/hope for that: hopefully swear in Grijalva while we’re at it 🤞. But it’s the Fetterman of it all that makes me think it’s not really a chess move.
