Episode 10 of Battle of Britain: Untold Stories introduces the Fiat CR42 Falco, a rare Italian fighter from London's Fighter Four display. Once flown in the Battle of Britain, this “delightful machine to fly” reveals Mussolini’s ill-fated contribution to the skies and the remarkable story behind its survival. Untold Stories is a series of short films, narrated by our own experts, that uncover the remarkable lesser-known stories of the Battle of Britain while spotlighting the people, tactics, and technology brought to life through the RAF Museum’s collection.
