Today, Freya experienced a sudden medical crisis. I found her lying limp and barely responsive. When we got her to the vet, her pulse, BP, and blood sugar were all dangerously low. Vet said if we'd waited an hour, she might not have survived.

I believe that social media too often makes people appear to have no struggles.

I've been struggling with imposter syndrome a lot lately, as if I'm kidding myself and working so hard when I'm destined to fail again. It's a constant struggle to remind myself I am worthy of being here.

I am a person who works on the other side of events like this; this seems about the same kind of thing that happens when event management changes hands. I have worked with the same client year after year, and the minute a few new people take over, it's like starting at day one again.
